How to Install GTA V and FiveM on PC
To install FiveM, first install and update GTA V. Then download the FiveM client from the official FiveM website, run FiveM.exe, and point it to the GTA5.exe file in your GTA V installation. Let FiveM update its local game data, sign in to Cfx.re, and you are ready to join a server.
This is the clean setup path before changing your graphics. Do the base install first. Add a preset or graphics pack only after FiveM launches normally.
1. Install GTA V and launch it once
